1. The Vikings pass by Christchurch. They are played by pupils and staff from the new Burlington School.

2. The first event in the week long peace celebration was the arrival of a WW1 tank which had seen action at Cambrai.  It was driven under its own power from the railway station to Priory Church.

3. Here the Roman chariot driven by Mr. F Burrell passes the end of North Street.  Mr. Burrell ran stables on Promenade. 4. Dressed for the event, we have William Pidd as a Roman soldier, his son Ernest as a Saxon youth, and William Morris as a roundhead soldier. There were neighbours who lived in Church Walk where the Priory Rector’s garden is now.

Here's our lovely Avril and Sue from Spotlight at the Medical Centre on Station Ave. They held a coffee morning to raise money for charity, and gathered a whopping £160! This money will go towards our dementia friendly days at Spotlight. Thank you to everyone involved.
