Spotlight Youth Theatre by ARCADE is thrilled to present this new, smash-hit musical based on the 1930s macabre comic - a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, featuring an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare:

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met, and if that wasn’t upsetting enough, she has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner !

Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother, so, now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.

In one fateful, hilarious night,as they host the dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.

The show, which includes iconic characters such as the crazily brilliant Wednesday, is directed by local Theatre Director, Alex Weatherill. It’s time to let out Bridlington’s creepy and spooky inner self!
