Youth Theatre by ARCADE is thrilled to present
this new, smash-hit musical based on the 1930s macabre comic
- a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family,
featuring an original story and it’s every father’s
nightmare:
Wednesday
Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and
fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable
family– a man her parents have never met, and if that
wasn’t upsetting enough, she has invited the Beinekes
to their home for dinner !
Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her
mother, so, now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never
done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.
In
one fateful, hilarious night,as they host the dinner for Wednesday’s
“normal” boyfriend and his parents, secrets are
disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must
face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid
for generations: change.
The
show, which includes iconic characters such as the crazily brilliant
Wednesday, is directed by local Theatre
Director, Alex Weatherill. It’s time to
let out Bridlington’s creepy and spooky inner self!

"Joyce
Grenfell " LIVE
July
12th and 13th 7.30 pm 14th 2.30 pm
After
their successful production of the Life of
Gracie Field at the Spotlight in 2023
Ginger Green productions present Joyce
Grenfell as remembered by the Wetwang WI.
Toothy,
oval-faced Britisher Joyce Grenfell with her stark, equine features
charmed and humored audiences both here and abroad on radio,
stage, film and TV for nearly four decades.
Lovingly
remembered as a delightfully witty revue artist, monologist
and raconteur, she inherited her bold talents from her eccentric
socialite mother, who just so happened to be American and the
sister of Lady Nancy Astor.
"Join
the Chair and ladies of Wetwang Women's Institute as they prepare
for a Joyce Grenfell revue. A night of comedy including many
of Joyce's hilarious monologues and well loved songs."
